Join Neil Green, Lesley Martinez and Malinda Perera as they perform their IMMIGRATION IS A JOKE act here for us at John Lee's bar & Music Venue.
For the first time in Irish Comedy history, three of Ireland's top foreign comedians are coming together to perform a stand up comedy show in every county in Ireland. Performed by Neil Green (South Africa), Malinda Perera (Sri Lanka) and Lesly Martinez (Venezuela), "Immigration Is A Joke" is a comedy show you can enjoy equally whether you are Irish or an immigrant. Come along and have a laugh with Neil, Malinda and Lesly as they bring their jokes to the stage to have you in stitches.

Neil Green (South Africa)
Hailing from Durban in South Africa, Neil has been a fixture on the comedy scene in his home country for over a decade. He has multiple Comedy Central appearances, most notably as the host of Season 2 of "Laugh in Your Language." His one man special "Last Boss" released in 2020 on National Television and major streaming platforms, was noted in GQ Magazine as one of the Top Comedy Specials released that year. He is now based in Dublin and enjoying establishing himself on the Irish comedy scene.
Malinda Perera (Sri Lanka)
Malinda moved to Europe from Sri Lanka to study IT to make his mother proud while sticking to the universal stereotype. Obviously, that dream did not last long as he found his love for the art of telling jokes on stage. Since going on stage in 2016 for the first time, Malinda has taken the European comedy circuit by storm and now resides in Dublin. His debut solo special "Not A Drug Dealer" had a sold out run across Europe as he performed the show in 50 cities in 24 countries. Malinda also appeared on RTÉ's sketch comedy series "No Worries If Not".
Lesly Martinez (Venezuela)
Cork based Latina comedian from Venezuela, Lesly brings her adventures and stories of Irish society, love and the struggle to fit in, to the stage and it's all delivered through her very sexy accent . Lesly was the winner of The Ballycotton Comedy Festival G.O.A.T Competition and was a semi finalist of 'Show Me The Funny' 2023. She has performed all around Ireland and internationally. A regular on the Irish Comedy circuit she has supported and performed alongside many well known acts such as Ross Brown, Chris Kent, Mike Morgan and many more.
