In 1999, Paddy Casey released AMEN. He is now an instantly recognised name across the Irish music scene, playing . He was part of the massively vibrant singer-songwriter scene at the time in Dublin, and after finding success, has released 5 albums since then. His latest album, ‘Turn This Ship Around’, is his post-pandemic release and he is eager to perform new songs from this album here in Tullamore for us as well as many of his other classics.
Louise Bruton of The Irish Times describes the album as a ‘“best of” collection of never-released songs’. The Irish Times also released a playlist ‘Soundtrack of My Life: Paddy Casey’ after their interview with him in September 2021: Paddy Casey As told to Shilpa Ganatra

SPECIAL GUEST: KEYS MC (Matteo Cullen)
Matteo Cullen is a musician, recording artist and teacher currently based in Durrow, Co. Offaly. He has lived in Ireland, Italy, the Middle East, Japan, and the UK, as well as travelling throughout Asia, Europe, the Americas and the Caribbean. These experiences, interwoven with unique life circumstances, have shaped his musical interests and style. Matteo performs a range of original songs, reflecting the diverse elements of his musicality, including reggae, jazz and blues, Irish traditional and country music. He has recorded and released three albums, and is currently working on a new collection of songs. He also holds a doctoral degree in Irish popular music history.
